Methods of organic fertilizer fermentation
1. Rural simple composting method
Method: Mix and pile up livestock and poultry manure, bedding, residual feed, weeds, fallen leaves, straw, wood ash, etc.
Advantages: simple operation, low cost, a wide source of raw materials, suitable for small-scale production, and family use.
Disadvantages: manual operation, high labor intensity, long composting time, incomplete fermentation, a lot of odor, and may cause certain environmental pollution.
2. Strip composting process
Method: Pile the raw material mixture into a long strip or strip pile.
Advantages: low investment cost, low operation and maintenance cost, less equipment, simple operation, suitable for processing a large amount of organic waste.
Disadvantages: large area, long fermentation cycle, open fermentation, poor odor control, easy to produce secondary pollution, and difficult to meet environmental protection requirements.
3. Turning the composting process
Method: Build a partition wall on the cement floor, and lay a guide rail on the top of the partition wall. And install a compost-turning machine on the rail.
Advantages: low investment cost, low operation and maintenance cost, turning the compost can make the material more uniform. This is conducive to fermentation.
Disadvantages: It belongs to a semi-open fermentation system, and the odor is difficult to control. And secondary pollution is easy to produce.
Advantages and disadvantages of organic fertilizer fermentation
4. Tank fermentation process
Method: The container composting method is adopted, and the mixed material is placed inside the tank for fermentation.
Advantages: small footprint, high degree of automation, short fermentation cycle. Easy centralized treatment of odor generated by fermentation, and stable product quality.
Disadvantages: high investment cost and high operation and maintenance costs. This, to a certain extent, limits the wide promotion and application of this process. And separate deodorization equipment needs to be set up.
5. Tank fermentation process
Method: Fermentation is carried out in the tank, and a tank-type compost-turning machine is usually used for compost-turning.
Advantages: strong controllability, good fermentation effect, and can effectively control fermentation conditions. Such as temperature, humidity, ventilation, etc., relatively low investment cost.
Disadvantages: sufficient space is required to build a fermentation tank, and the civil engineering cost is relatively high.
6. NCS membrane composting process
Method: Based on a polymer selective permeable membrane and an intelligent aeration system. A safe and modern biological treatment system established.
Advantages: low investment cost, low operating cost, environmental protection, odor isolation, open-air static fermentation, intelligent control, closed composting fermentation, no need to turn over, good odor control, and can meet environmental protection requirements.
Disadvantages: The cost of membrane materials is high, and they need replace regularly. The maintenance and management requirements of equipment are high.
